Initially, I wasn't sure what approach to take in interpreting my 10 objects in terms of doing so literally or abstractly. However I felt that in order to express myself in the best way possible I had to look at each object as an individual memory and try to visually communicate what it meant to me. For example: I  interpreted the photograph of my sisters from another persons perspective. We're known as 'the 4 girls' which is quite a simplistic view therefore I chose to use numbers and symbols to reflect this idea of simplicity. An example of an abstract interpretation is that of my leavers book, instead of literally drawing my book I decided to draw the pattern on the cover and incorporate the theme of nostalgia by leaving it 'unfinished' and complimenting the line drawing with tones of dark blue, light purple and bright yellow to represent a range of emotions. Overall, this was an interesting experience as it gave me a lot of freedom in expressing myself which resulted in a diverse outcome.

  1. I like the drawing titled "JOY". It is simple, unique and original, it also shows the emotions of the artist or the model in a very different way.
